Washer is a universal fastening element for polycarbonate cells. Washers have two functions: to directly attach polycarbonate sheets to the frame crossbars and to insulate the fastening points to prevent precipitation and cold from entering the building. This protects the polycarbonate sheets from the effects of the external environment. Therefore, this component (washer) must be of high quality, safe, resistant to external influences and mechanical stress.

Thermal washers do not restrict the expansion of polycarbonate sheets in warm weather. This is ensured by a slightly larger hole in the polycarbonate sheet and a special foam plastic gasket. The main fastening element of the thermal washer is a screw that attaches the polycarbonate sheet to the frame of the structure. Unlike traditional fastening methods with metal screws, washers effectively seal areas where cold can penetrate the structure.

Thermal washers are very easy to use – the screw is hidden under a special, tightly fixed cover. Thus, the washer makes the structure not only durable and practical, but also neat and elegant.
